The WAY-LOO Android app is distributed through Google Play. The file below is the release published for direct installation.

The store link will appear on this page once it is live. Distribution is through the store; the file here is for direct installation.

Published file

Compute the digest of the file you downloaded and compare it with the SHA-256 value above. If they differ, do not install the file.
Windows: certutil -hashfile wayloo.apk SHA256
macOS / Linux: shasum -a 256 wayloo.apk
Android (Termux): sha256sum wayloo.apk

Download the file and open it from your file manager.
Android will ask you to allow installation from an unknown source; grant it for this installation only.
After installation, open the app and choose your language and vehicle type.
When location permission is asked, choose “while using the app”. Background location permission is never requested.

Installation says “app not installed”.: The file may have been corrupted during download. Compare the SHA-256 value and download again if needed.
The map opens empty.: Check your internet connection. Map tiles are downloaded on first use; without a connection only the background is shown.
There is no spoken guidance.: If the voice files are missing in the language you chose the app says so, and on-screen guidance works fully. Check the device volume as well.
The WhatsApp verification code does not arrive.: Check that the number is written with its country code. If many requests were sent in a short time you have to wait a while.
Navigation will not start, but the map and listings work.: Guidance may have been switched off from the server temporarily. The app then keeps working in map and listing mode.
